Hi there micky and welcome to the forum.
As MBA says, there's a few lads joined from Scotland, nice to have you all here.
Take a good look around, ask questions, make comments and enjoy yourself.
Everybody who has joined this forum is helpful and friendly so don't be afraid to ask questions, no matter how trivial.

new to the site
Hi Guys
Great site Andy!
Thought i would pop on and say hello. Just getting back into pike fishing after ten long years and cant beleive i left it so long. Never knew how much i missed it!
Anyway, my young brother (18) has started coming with me and he is totally hooked too! So its good cause i've got a fishing partner.
We only started again two weeks ago, caught a couple of small jacks on the local canal (leeds and liverpool) and then a small jack on Angelzark res in chorley - during a long cold day i might add! Just one!
Got the basic tackle together now including 2 x 3lb pike rods and a shakespear ugly stick for lures.
I was hoping you more experienced pike anglers wouldnt mind pointing me in theright direction. We are after some really good waters to try around Lancashire. Although we will travel further every now and again if its worth it! We are thinking of trying Jumbles reservoir in Bolton this weekend.
The big problem we have found is trying to find good pike waters. I've tried asking a few tackle shops but get the impression, they are tyring to sell me their day tickets!
Also, some tips of types of lures for these waters would be very much appreciated!
Usually set up a ledger with drop arm indicator and bite alarm. Then a float ledger closer in again with bite alarm. Just not caught anything on the lure yet,
Anyway, thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help
chris
