Re: Barbel gear
hey guys,
i use 2 fox floodwater barbel 2.75 rods and 2 shimano 8000 bait runner reels, does perfectly for me!!! i fish on a fast flowing river so a 2.75 rod really does the job.

Re: Barbel gear
river trent, got quite alot of pull where we fish so we use a 1.75 to 2.75, used the 2.75 when the river is really up, got a couple of 2 lb test curve rods an a 1.75, so got a bit of choice, i some times use the 2.75 for piking so i does me for both, where do u go barbeling? impressive carp by the way!!!
