Probably heard it from me Lefty. It's garbage for pike fishing. I honestly think it's a pike repellent. What it does catch though is eels....by the shed-load. The stick must appeal to them anyway.

It's also now used by Tench anglers for cupping out chopped worms and stuff. It makes a really potent red cloud but I don't think it does anything red food colouring can't. It's not the smell they use it for.
