Got my answer back today from the babysitter.

"yes, maybe, for a few hours"

So, if i do make it (fingers crossed) it will have to just be for a short session.

Hit and run so to speak Very Happy

just been down to look at the section we are going to fish, and good news no matches on. while i was there though, a pole anglet landed a pike that had grabbed a small roach, not a big pike, but at least there are some in the area. Very Happy Very Happy

Here's a pic of the guys at the fish in.

Two fish were caught and there were a few missed / dropped runs. The pike seem to be more finicky than in the past, although I cannot speak from experience as, once again, I blanked!

It was good to meet some new faces and catch up with some old ones. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and am looking forward to doing it again sometime. Well done to MBA and Steve French on catching. Well done to Adie on his optimism in trying to catch the biggest thing in the water lol!
