Attractants
Hi everybody a couple of questions really What do you think of attractants like Preditor Plus for instance ? And does anyone use them regularly ?
Got a Dragoncarpdirect exhibition at Newark coming up at the end of this month
What do you reckon on their kit?

Attractants !! I don't think you can beat natural fish oils i.e piercing the fishes skin to let oil & blood leak out ! Never had any luck with Preditor plus !!
Dragon carp tackle is cheap and you get what you pay for ie cheaper = crap !!
they do do some decent tackle put you need to pick through the cheap nasty stuff to get to it

Re: Attractants
ive had some dragon carp gear and to be fair it is C**P. if you look around you can get a lot better gear for not a lot more money. used a few flavours this season, still to make my mind up though as to weather they work of not

Yeah, you get what you pay for but their "Rubba Net" landing nets for piking are worth buying. Because they are rubber the trebles don`t get stuck in them so easily so it makes life a lot easier when you do have to net them. Paid £5 for mine from a show a couple of years ago, never regretted buying it, not sure how much they are now though.

Re: Attractants
I had some pike bombers on at the weekend and not a sniff at a pike so i would have assumed that if they did work i should have at least some action.
I agree with adie natural oils from good bait. There may be times when they may work ? so won't give up on them just yet.
Adie has a good attractor for the lesser known long red boater fish ???

Re: Attractants
hmmm not sure on this one..... i have used added attractants in the past but cant say i've noticed any real difference in the amount of fish caught even when fishing same species deadbaits side by side (one with and one without added attractant).
i do have a few ideas in the pipeline but i'm keeping them to myself for now until i have a chance to thoroughly test them.
