Best buy of 2009
What is the best piece of kit have you bought in 2009? Lets all benefit each others great purchases.
The best thing I have bought was a Salmo Slider, 7cm, floating, in Shiner pattern.

Re: Best buy of 2009
I didn't buy it but I had given a compost 'bucket'. It has a lid which I've drilled loads of small holes in and at the bottom there is a drain off tap.
It's ideal for rearing worms. My mate dug some up for me and another mate had some left over from a fishing session so they went in. Had a constant supply of them since.

After 20 years of marriage, all wisdom I can impart to you is as follows :
The first year of marriage, you just want to eat that thing up........after that, you wish you did!!!

...........................sorry, I deviated from the topic for a moment.
All I can add to the topic which is remotely constructive, is that I still have plenty to buy and there is still lots of 2009 to buy it in..........

My bargain buy of 2009 was 2.5lb tc Browning Agressor for £10 quid from a car boot sale. It was totally mint, hardly used and the old guy was just packing up and wanted rid of it!!! Had some good sport on it this summer and its served me well at only a tenner.
