Fishing dreams...
Hi all,
my name is Alex and I'm from Rome, Italy. I moved in London since last October, and since then I didn't have any chance to go fishing. This friday my girlfriend is coming back from Italy and when she asked me: "do you need something from Italy?" I told her only one word: lureeeess!
Now that I'm gonna get back my weapons, my rods and things I really wanna go back to life! As a foreigner I have to start from basics again as here everything is different: weather as well as places, patterns, fish habits and angler tactics (I suppose). I hope here I can find some friends with whom I can have some chats in order to understand basic things of lure fishing as it is in this country, and in the area of London where I live.
Nice to meet you all!
Alex

Re: Fishing dreams...
Hi and thanks for the friendly welcome
@ stubbo: as far as I know dead baits are killer tools, sometime when pikes really refuse to collaborate I try to use some little dead fish on a drachkovic system and that may be very effective, but nothing give me the same satisfaction of catching a fish with a jerk bait or a good spoon. Perhaps is it because when I was very young, I put my eyes at those strange metallic baits without any trust at all. Why a clever animal like a fish should try to eat a piece of iron without a natural shape and any smell, I thinked. Then one day a chub decided to reveal me the secret of lure fishing getting catched on a silver toby. I still remember my face... what a joy!
