Tyram Hall Trip
If you would fancy a trip to Tyram Hall Fisheries, as first suggested by mad bad angler, then why not register your interest here.
Nothing set in stone yet, but it would be this winter, and hopefully one or more of us will catch one of the resident monsters.
As soon as there is enough interest then we will try and come up with a date to suit all.
That's it for now, catch you later.
PS Hope you don't think I'm trying to steal the limelight off you mad bad. If you want it can be a join operation for us both to organise?

yeah i have pike fished it a number of times, but mainly on the main carp lake which can be fished on day ticket from october. my best from there is 17lb 8oz, but have had a number of double figure fish, and 3-4 runs a day is common. only fished with dead bait, (not into lures) and have also had 3 zander to 6lb 15oz . hopt this helps you. all the best. Re: Tyram Hall Trip
hi there folks.
I may have to hand over the organisation of this trip to somebody else due to my work situation. See the post "What a bummer!!" so see what I mean.
My neighbour and fishing buddy has recently joined and goes by the name of gavin1928.
I was talking to him the other day and he says to take pressure off me that he will help with the organisation or even take over altogether.
I'll keep you all informed as to what is happening.
Thanks for your understanding in this matter and take care everybody.

1928!! Is that an indication of your birthdate? You must be fit as a butcher's dog! I hope I'm still pike fishing when I'm 80....lol.... I must eat more porrige in the morning.
Gavin 1928, how do you do?
(PS: you're not really 80 are you?)

He's a bit pre-occupied with his new gf at the moment so rarely get to see him to ask him.

Lefty, what needs doing? could we come up with a date, get an idea who wants to go and lets do it, do we need to book the swims? every one provides own transport, so no issue there, what do you think?

I'm sure you'll be welcome Bazz. Just check the dates with the lads. I'd go but I may as well live in Finland.
I won't be with you lads but I'll be there in spirit...

O.K lads game on, in my experience we will never get a date thats good for everone either 13th or 14th of December? or as an alternative Thursday 11th December, any takers? and Lefty do we need to book bank aspace in advance, Andy its a shame you cant be there, any chance of organising a trip to your part of the world? i am up for that.

Re: Tyram Hall Trip
I wouldn't expect a load of you to pile up here for the sake of 2 or 3 members. I'm sure the Scots lads will get a wee trip organised together and maybe in future, we'll all manage something together but if any of you do come up this way for a wee break or a tip, let us know and we'll see about organising something for you alright.

Re: Tyram Hall Trip
I will pencil in Thursday 11th Dec. on the official works holiday planner (Girlie calender in M8's office !)
Tyram Fisheries, 3 lakes? is in my E.Agency guide, off A614 5 miles from M180. A Philip Johnson is the contact 01302 840886.
I will come straight up A614 via Rufford, Ollerton , past Clumber Park etc...
