was thinking bout the jrc sti brolly 2 rib, but this seems better and it was only £ 105 delivered, should be here in few days !! superb

Yeah I got a chub s aswell with the over wrap it's not a bad. It's survived a few weather batterings. Wasn't enough pegs with it tho had to get somemore. Removable ground sheet is handy to give it a hosedown.

new shelter
i nearly bought the s plus max which i think is the new model with the pram hood, but to be honest, i cant be fannying about with extra poles etc so the s plus looks perfect for me. GTI model, maybe. hope its got go faster stripes down the side !!

new shelter
i reckon the fox oval will be a smidge quicker than my bivvy Leebob, but not a lot judging by the video i saw of the guy erecting it. probably 3 mins total.
i actually bought a wychwood oval off ebay a week ago, but after getting it i didnt really like it too much. it will be handy i feel, but reckon ive made the right choice with the chub s plus bivvy...........lets hope so hey !!
let us know what the fox is like.

got me a new shelter
Well lads, the bivvy turned up today. Chub s plus bivvy.
What a piece of kit this is for the money. Paid £ 105 delivered. Put it up in the Lounge as it was persistantly raining and very windy. Went up in less than 2 mins. superb. good quality as well. dont know how they sell it for that sort of money.
Before you lads buy a new shelter, i urge you to take a look at the Chub s plus bivvy. The front zips off so you can use as a day shelter if required. SUPERB !!!

It is pretty big inside P.P. Loads of room for your gear.
I set it up Properly today at home and timed how long to set up. From opening the bag to pegged in and groundsheet in place, 4 1/2 mins !! Superb.
