i have used this site before, cheap and good fast service, the only problem i found was mid winter, the most popular baits ie: lamprey, smelt etc, where often out of stock.
but i will certainly use them again

Re: stocking up on deadbaits may be of some use
Just received a £60 order of bait from the company mentioned above. I have previously had a large order from Baits direct but due to website payment issues I decided to give this company a try.
Firstly the most important thing wa that it arrived when I requested! I know it's such a simple thing but doesn't always happen with these courier companies.
Opened the box and the bait was well packed, frozen solid and of decent quality. As part of the order I requested 2 recessions packs but was a tad upset to find that a number of the items were not in the box but replaced by sardines and sprats(dont like these 2). I'm aware that they will subsitute any out of stock items but everything was showing as in stock at time of order.
One question I find my self asking is how across the 2 online bait sites can they be out of trout(I like)? Are there not millions of these being farmed all over the land?
Anyways for quality and delievery service you cant ask for any better. If you need specific baits then maybe a phone call would be advisable to ensure it's delivered.
Baits direct were second to none when I used them in the summer - great communication too.
Hope this may help some of you

I bought the Pikers recesion pack, Good enough, They posted it thursday For me to recieve friday, But it actualy arrived on the Monday, Not the fault of the supplier, But the pack was just starting to stink, So they had done me a favour, And i re-froze it all, And its great value for the money, I think it was £9 for the pack, And postage is £7
Re: stocking up on dead baits
Just a BIG praise post for online baits co .uk, got my order delivered today on time as requested, had an order of £41.50 spot on, the packaging was excellent along with 2 ice packs which I will use again, the bonus is the reusable insulated box which will be great for taking Cat baits to france.

i would have had my best brace feb this year i landed a 19.5lb and LOST 4 BIG doubles all on trout, i inject with air, of which it then SLOWLY floats to the bottom.
i was GUTTED.......
apart from landing my PB it was the worst day ever..

That's so funny I thought it was only me who made an erse of things!
I lost a few fish in my early days of piking due to forgetting to slacken off the drag. Once I learned the purpose of the thing I was fine!
I once had a pike in the net, the hooks come out, it jumped over the edge of the net and back in. Again lesson learned - always lifted the net as soon as the fish is in.
Don't know if anyone saw catching the impossible where he caught the 30lb pike? I was having kittens as he left the fish in the net at the side of the boat. I just had visions of it jumping out and him losing it! Thing is he is a 1000 times more experienced and that sort of stuff doesn't happen, well at least not on camera!!!!
