hi all just found this forum i use to be a member of the harris angling forum until chris and sue sold it and the new owners shut it down. ( under the same name if there are any of the old guard left ).

i'm lee i have been pike fishing for some 20 years or predator fishing and have been a very keen lure angler for 15 of those years
when i started out lure fishing most pike anglers in this country only had a spinner or 2 in their box if fact they where so hard to come by in the uk the only way to get lures was to order them from the usa. it's good to see the sport very alive and kicking these days.
my PB pike is 27.10lbs that fell to a dead bait my PB lure caught pike is 21lb on top of that my pbs on lures are 6lb sea bass 3.5lb chub 15lb cod 5lb pollock 1.5lb trigger fish 3lb perch 6lb rainbow a few weird ones a 4lb bream through the lip and a 28lb mirror carp through the lip (yes if surface lures are fished right carp will take them it fell to a lymans) all from the uk the more exotic are my pride and joy a 75lb sail fish on a 20lb class set up (tagged and released with igfa cert) a 20lb baracuda on a light lure rod a 50lb wahoo 20lb class set up a 15lb albacore tuna on ultralight gear 20lb dorrado all manner of snapper and stuff i couldnt class
a few missing from my list that i hope to bag at some point in the future on lures are zander,nile perch,baramundi,gt,maseer.
