Is this a different fish to the one caught by the young lad at 39lb+?
Be amazed if its another big fish from that water

Don't know mate. 45lb 14oz....not far off the record!! I would imagine if this rumour is true, it's probably the same fish in prime condition. If it had just eat one more fish we could have been looking at a new record!

i might not go to chew and nip up there after the big girl has had breakfast lol
If it is the same fish i really do feel sorry for her she will be fished for by all and sundry ?

It says on their website that they offer three coarse fishing lakes which allow the angler to fish for a variety of coarse fish, including Carp, Tench, Crucian's, Roach, Perch, Chub, Bream, Rudd, Eels and Pike. Day tickets and Season tickets are available for the individual and for competitive groups.

Re: 45lb 14oz Yorkshire Pike
Sorry lads i had to delete the picture of the pike after Fishman who is fishery manager of the lake asked me to delete it as it should not have been put on any site yet
Re: 45lb 14oz Yorkshire Pike
I've heard in person about 45 minutes ago, from the previous Captor of the 39lb 15oz fish, that it may well be the same fish.

Re: 45lb 14oz Yorkshire Pike
Well its in the angling times today so i can't see any reason why we can't have the pic on here now
Plus it turns out it is the same pike than came out at 39lb+

Re: 45lb 14oz Yorkshire Pike
When Jake caught it, i didn't want to predict what it could weigh if caught again at this time of year, cause it made my mind boggle Some of the lads reckoned it would go in to a sulk and not gain much weight. Apparently not
This fish may well beat the british record in 12 months time

Don't hold me to this but i've just come accross the comment: 'Just been caught again by one of the Angling rags', elsewhere.....
