Hello all
If any of you use high vis darts when float-fishing, an easy way to add a starlight is to use a cut off the dart stem, add a few drops of glue, slide on the plastic collar you get with the starlight and your away. I've found it works a treat.
If anybody has any other little rig tips I'd like to here or see them.
Will add a pic just in case you didn't get my explanation.

Tips, Tricks and Handy hints Empty How To Post Pictures by Our 'Slidze'

Post  Andy Macfarlane on Mon Dec 15, 2008 8:54 pm

Thanks to Slidze (Billy) for this step-By-step guide to posting pics..... Wink

Slidze wrote:Listen-up mate....here's a guide Wink

There are loads of pic hosts.....I use these:

http://www.imagevenue.com/
http://pic.leech.it/index.php
http://www.imageshack.us/

Lets use pic.leech.it for our examples.....but once you know how to use the codes, they are all the same Wink
(click on the thumbnail images in this tutorial for full screen with added info...)

Step 1:
Go to the image host (pic leech it) and hit the browse tab:

Step 2:
...A window will pop-up where you can select the image you want to post. Double click the selected image and then click the "upload" button.

Tips, Tricks and Handy hints 4a346cdtut2 <<CLICK

Step 3:
You will see a small picture of the image you selected with loads of what looks like "crap" written underneath in different wee rectangular boxes. It's the crap inside these boxes that you want. You can post images in 2 main ways for forums. If the pic is fairly small......go for this option:

Step 4:
Copy the garble inside this rectangular box (highlight all of the text, RIGHT click on it, then select "copy" from the wee pop-up menu). Go to the forum reply box and type in this >> [img][/img]

The garble you copied should be pasted (RIGHT click and select "paste" from the wee pop-up menu) in between the tags shown above: Tips, Tricks and Handy hints GARBLE

This shows the full image to the viewer....like this:

Now......if you have a huge big pic, you really should go for the next option which is simpler, and looks tidier on the forum Wink

Step 5 (alternative to 4):
On the page with all the garble in wee rectangular boxes, choose this option:

Copy the info inside this box in the way described earlier.
Go to the forum reply box and simply paste the info into your post.
What this does is post a "clickable" thumbnail of your pic that folk can click on and view the full sized image (just like the wee pics I've been using in this tutorial)

If this is as confusing as fook........don't worry!! It really is simple once you get the hang of it. It's maybe worth hitting the "quote" butto on this post to see how all of the images look in a forum post........all you will see in place of pics are garble Smile ......but pay attention to how that garble is posted.

Hope this helps mate Sad

Very Happy

....all you did wrong was use the [img][/img] tags.

You posted the image code in between the tags in red above.......when you should just have posted the code on its own. The tags above in red should only be used like that for small images (500X500 pixels IMO)

cyclops Wink

....nice tip by the way mate Very Happy
