I,m useless at electrical stuff, thats why i couldnt make anything like that Hurricane. They do look cool mate.

And here"s my favourite,the easiest to make but most vesatile floats I own,fish em like a stick,a wagler,on the pole or the whip or as a margin float when stalking.

Ive got loads of those porcupine quill floats Hurricane, got peacock quill as well, just cut to length required. How simple is that. Great to use, and last for years.

I made a crow quill avon once, well nearly, i got the quill put it through a piece of balsa and even painted the tip orange but never finished it, bet I would have bagged up with that float

What about these,this guys floats are works of art,thet would be nice framed and hung on the wall.

I dont know about porcupines but you can make some nice "quill" pole floats from a hedgehog

I use mine all the time now kell. Decided they are made for a purpose so i use them now rather than having them on display
Absolute quality though. My favorites are the perch sliders i have, closely followed by the pike bungs i use when trotting on rivers with a live roach and the centrepin.

I have on the small one but nothing on the larger one. The drifter float is made from a bamboo kebab stick and a poly egg with a square of plastic cut from a pop bottle and spray painted, total cost about 7p
