Coleman Duel Fuel Feather Stove Empty Coleman Duel Fuel Feather Stove

I have just recently bought a used one from eBay and was looking at fuel do I use normal petrol from my local station at £1.40 a liter or spend £7.99 to buy colemans own brand distilled fuel!!!!

Does anyone know the difference between the two Question

After seeing MBA use his a few years ago I bought one and have used it ever since on unleaded straight from garage and never had a problem
Colmans may be a little more purified I think

I`ve used these stoves since the early 90s.
There are a couple of things I`ve picked up that will help you get the best from them.

First, put some Redex petrol treatment in the petrol that you use. This helps keep the generator clean and
will extend it`s life massively.
Second, I`ve read that always keeping the stove pressurised helps to keep it working well.

One other thing, when you turn the stove off, operate the lever (on and off) 3 or 4 times.
This will clear out any build up lodged in the jet.
