wobbled dead baits Empty wobbled dead baits

is it best to defrost dead baits prior to using them for spinning
iam off spinning tomorrow with a friend on his own lake and ive never tried it before with deads
only going for a couple of hrs in the morning so we have opted to spin the whole lake in thinking we have more chance of a catch
in the short time we will have fishing

i use them frozen but they thaw out quickly once they have been in the water i like small joeys and trout for wobbling some times attach a small spinner blade in front of the fish,,,,,,,
