Just checked the calendar for the PAC meeting and see this is a Tuesday. This is the night we go dancing and there's not a hope in Hell that I would get away with missing that! To say I would be in the doghouse would be a gross understatement!Hiker wrote:No I'm not but have been thinking about it.Bazz wrote:Hiker are you a PAC member?

you dont have to be in the PAC in order to catch fish. Pike dont care if you are a member or not. What sort of dancing?

Re: Anybody Catching
Well said Ash, I suggested the PAC to Hiker because in his original introduction Hiker was looking for fishing companions and 'doing the hard sell' was purely joking Matt.
The e-mail now sent to the yahoo address Ash, hope it helps.
Oops, I didn't realise the other was to your wife ha ha. Brian has sent an updated memberlist, I gave him a poke like I said I would...
Yes, Andy picking me up at 6.30am on Sunday, did you see his car on Tuesday? Its a bit of a beast!

That's a shame Hiker, though as Matt says you don't need to belong to the PAC to catch Pike and there is more to life than fishing, Pike and the PAC. The members meetings are on the second Tuesday of every month until April next year. But if you are a member of the PAC you can attend the fish-ins organised by Ash and Kev on certain weekends of the season, we are out on Rutland water this Sunday, now you can see what I am getting at

Desperate now to find another venue but they are far and few between in this area.
If those lakes are on the Notts Anglers book and not far from where you live, pond No2 has produced for me in the past......quack quack

Taking two lure rods, one to cast heavy jerkbaits with a pistol grip and multiplier and a lighter 9' rod for jellies, etc.... Andy will probably take a bait rod as well as some lures

Fished 1 ,2, 3, 4 and 5, nothing in spite of members saying they have a " pike problem". Drifted, popped up and laid on the bottom with no success. Since it is local I will persevere, but only in short sessions.

Let the doubles keep on coming [:T]
fished a drain stretch saturday which produced 5 fish.
4lb / 10lb / 13.9lb / 19.5lb / 19.5lb
can confirm the 2 x 19s are different fish, one caught AM and the other caught late PM with 30 yards from each other []
19lb 5oz
13lb 8oz

Thanks for the offer, I think I will join you at Frisby. Which day are you going?
