Re: Anybody Catching
Went out yesterday, had 2 fish, both doubles 1 at just over 10lb then had a real nice fish at 17lb 8 .. But what spoilt a good days fishing, that yet again people are taking pike for waters... It's just so frustrating that this seems to go unpunished... Yes they will be banned from the water, but they just move on to the next water,, those people had 2 pike in their rack sack when we asked them why are you taking these fish from the water, they said it was to feed family.... Is there anything that can stop this, at this rate what hope for the pike.....

Stubbo it doesn't matter what size they are they all count mate ( we have to say that because Gaz is wiping the floor with us lately )
Keep the pics coming all of them no matter what size

Re: Anybody Catching
Well done to both of you, you can only catch what takes your bait, they are all good to see regardless of size. Got to say though, 2 20's in one session is some good going MBA!

Re: Anybody Catching
I did an overnighter sat/sun , with a couple of like minded lads who have the same affliction as me, ( pike addict ) we had a good crack on what I reckon will turn out to be a hard water. I had the only run at 8.30 this morn and caught a clean , pristine 12 pounder . I was feeling very pleased with myself , I went home and rang my mate gaz to see how his day was doing. . . . . I then was put firmly in my place To catch 1 20 pounder can be lucky . But to catch 3 20s in 2 sessions is both , skilful and outrageous !
Well done mate , enjoy it . Top angling

I had a pretty good day myself yesterday with fish of 20lb 12oz and 24lb 14oz. Both from a new stretch of river I had never fished before. I'll post some pics when I get home.
That's 5 over twenty pounds so far this season.
