big stripy on live bait

been out today around chester area had this good perch on a small live perch .

That's a stonker mate well done I love big perch they don't half fight

cheers adie... it did put up a good fight I used a pound and a half test rod with 8lb line and a fluro 6lb link size 4 hook with a small perch live bait simple ledgered on a lead link ....

I have to use a wire trace when I'm live baiting for them you just never know when a pike may show up

me too pal to be honest its a break from chasing pike .....I do like fishing for the specimen sized perch...... think I could be converted to chasing sergeants....
