I'm out tomorrow with the fly rod, fishing some fairly untapped water. It's really only fished for trout so could be good. I will let you know tomorrow when I'm back.

Re: Anybody Catching part one
Had a quick 2.5 hours on the trout water after roach and pike. The keep net wasn't in the water 15 minutes before a pike locked onto it and barrel rolled. I think it spooked itself though as I didn't catch it. I did however get 2 decent brownies at 6lb 2oz and 4 and a bit pound. Also 100 small roach. Anyone in the Edinburgh area that wants small roach en mass, I'm your man!

Re: Anybody Catching part one
Just had a lovely session on a local water, 6hrs trolling and then 16hrs on the alarms at -7 at night Brrrrrrrrr. Trolling produced fish of 4lb and 15lb 13oz (missed 4) Then chose a shore line and bivvied up with 3 rods out (illegal in Ireland☺) Two hours into dark I had a double run Struck the first and thought thats a good fish, engaged the baitrunner and struck into the second fish which also felt good. Decisions decisions!!!! I returned to rod one after insuring number two wasnt snagged or hopefully deep hooked. I played number one from about 150yds and was very happy to see a 110cm girl of 19lb 7oz slide into the net . unhook the trace and commence battle number 2 . Perfectly hooked in the scissors and without too much fun the second fish was safe and sound, and at 14lb very welcome too Very little or nothing happened all night but at 6:45am the same happened again within five minutes this time, not seconds lol Feeding triggers, did someone mention moon phase lol. 11lb stunner followed on the second rod by a beautiful 16lb 5oz, all safe and hooked perfectly. And then it was home to bed and a lovely warm wife lol. Not too bad a session eh? 5 doubles and a few misses kept the pulse going. I feel sorry for people who dont fish I told you it was cold didnt I lol.

Well done Andy 👍
I have decided that every time that I write "well done Andy " on here , I am going to put myself a quid in a jar and save it. I reckon I will have a few hundred quid by mid March 😀😀
Well done Andy 👍
That's £3 already 👍👍👍👍🎣
