That's what we like to see nice pictures of pike well done. I was out yesterday I caught four Jack's and missed another four runs
I think one may have been a trout I caught sight of it just as it got off. Looks like we are going to be in Tier Three so my trip to Scotland
is on hold for now.

Well lads,   2 days on the water this week,   I fished with a friend yesterday on 2 seperate boats,   I float trolled deads while he anchored and fished deads in the same area.   he kicked my blep landing 5 doubles and 10 smaller fish while I managed 3 doubles and a couple of jacks.  undeterred I returned today with high hopes and a bag full of baits,  sadly the wind had turned to the east so i wasnt expecting much,  thinking they had fed up yesterday before the frosty east weather came.  WRONG,    25 runs,   16 landed,   11 being doubles upto 17lb and a beast of a fish at dead on 29lb bounce bounce bounce   not a bad 2 days if i do say so myself lol.

11 doubles and a 29,that is some days piking! Well done. Lovely colours on that 29.
I was furloughed for a couple of weeks so been putting in the time on my local river, unfortunately the missus had to self isolate so much of my fishing had to be worked around the school run! The fishing was hard going with a couple of doubles,a few jacks and some blanking.Had a go for zeds yesterday for a change and had a couple of small ones to 4lb ish.
I can't get to the water I want to fish at the moment being as its further away and we'll be tier 3 next week.
Hope everyone manages to get out and get some fishing in.

Anybody Catching part two Empty sport is slowing up a bit

Post  stubbo Sat Nov 28, 2020 8:04 pm

managed to get out today , but still struggling with the old back problem ....temps are slowly falling and so are the bites
we have had a few sharp frosts in the areas I have been targeting perch...... but manage this double to perch tactics
even catching live baits is a hard task as of late.... nice windless day and overcast are normally a banker for success , but tell this to the fish .
