hi and welcome to the forum strider.... cant say i've ever fished there myself so i cant help.
however i must let you know about the no naming policy we operate on venues as per the sticky at the top of the main forum page. as far as i am aware you can ask for help with regards named venues as you have done in the above post BUT replies must be by pm (private message) only. this is nothing personal to yourself so dont worry, its just that here we operate this policy so that the waters we fish and the fish within them remain protected from over fishing.
i'm sure that you will recieve some replies to this post by local anglers who use this forum, as we have a good set of lads on here so dont worry too much and just keep logging back in every few days to check for new messages in your inbox.
my apologies in advance to either of the mods if i'm wrong on any of the above points lol.
best regards, rob

Hi Strider & welcome onto the forum. Very Happy

Everything Rob has said is totally correct. As it is a publically viewable forum that attracts Pike anglers & Wanna be Pike anglers, its better not to give too much information away. For instance, if you pull out a 25 lb Pike from the L & Liv & post on here, next time you visit it you may not be able to fit on the bank for Pikers who have been on here & decided ITS THEIR turn to go & catch a specimen. Wink

Keep your eye on here, there are a few from the N. West, Noodle & Adam Scott spring to mind. You are very welcome to be here... Smile

Welcome to the forum, Strider. cheers

I don't know of the water you mention so I can't help on that one.

For canals in general you should head for the marinas, basins, anything unusual really. Look at places where the bait are being caught. And persevere.

Good luck
