i went to a lake once about 30 miles from home. very early start to get there pre-dawn. got there in plenty of time, gear out the car, load up and walk to a peg. right first things first, bank sticks out and screw on the alarms check, set up landing net check, set rods up.........set rods up no rods how the heck can you forget to put the rods in the car, and not notice when unloading and walking to the peg. you would think that is was hard to do, but i did

I used to think that, I use the phrase 'used to' in the past tense for the pue and simple reason that I now have got that very T-shirt, not that I wear it often, haha!!

Stubbo mate, Should have called this numpty corner, We have all forgot somthing in the past, Mine was forgetting the reels, Doee
Re: you plonker roy
I once forgot to put my reel in my tackle bag and ended up driving home for it.
This summer, Gavin and I went on a night session and I forgot to pack my seat. No problem until it got to around 3am. Not very comfortable sat on your unhooking mat and it's starting to get damp.
Didn't do my back any good.

Re: you plonker roy
a friend of my wife once went to the shops with her young son in the pushchair. went round the shop, through the check out and straight home. when she got home her husband says "were is ben" (their son)
wife had left him in the shop at the check out.
luckily all was fine, but how can you leave your kid behind PMSL

Re: you plonker roy
My first wife's mum did that, left her grand daughter outside the shop in the pram.
Luckily it was very close to home and she realised as she went through her front gate. She ran back to the shop all of a panic and there she was, still outside the shop, sock on, in her pram.
A warehouse that I used to work changed the shift rota every six months. One of the lads turned up for work on a Sunday night as my team and I were just clocking on. He thought we were extracting the urine by saying it wasn't his time to be at work and he should actually be on the day shift in the morning.
He wasn't very happy as he didn't drive so was reliant on public transport. Not too bad really but he lived 30 miles away and it was 10 o'clock at night.
