I like that show, even if it is for kids. Did anyone see him getting bitten by the Croc when he was looking for Anacondas? He was using his feet to find submerged snakes and found a rather disgruntled croc instead. Pure quality.

That was funny Andy, I think he needed a new cork when it fired off at him, But the Pike footage was good, Dont think it matters if your a kid or not, Its just enjoyableAndy Macfarlane (Sun Dec 12, 2010 9:05 pm) wrote:I like that show, even if it is for kids. He's been barmy for years Jeff. His cave-climbing in Borneo was not for the faint-hearted.
I'd rather see a Sea-Eagle these days. What a great thing.

Re: kids documentaries......with PIKE,
I've seen plenty of golden eagles, which are big enough, never mind sea-eagles! Once saw 2 over Lomond, doing the talon grab, falling from the sky routine. I was sure they were actually going to hit the ground but they let go with a few feet to spare.
A bloke I know fishes for 100Lb+ skate and he's seen the sea-eagles fairly regularly. I plan to join him at some point. I'd like to a) catch a big skate and b) see the sea-eagles.

Most of the bigger Pike on Deadly 6o were filmed at Stoney Cove and I was there as second underwater camera and as an advisor. It was a great couple of days and all the crew were awesome. Steve loved the Pike and he said it was one of his best wildlife encounters

Dean
P.s It's Dean 'Burman' Andy Although I have been called Dean Burntham and Dean Bumman before...
