Been back to venue xx today

Well no carp were playing today
Kell had a carp rod out all day without a touch
But we both had a rod out after the silvers and we hammered them lol roach silver bream and rudd loads of them
After dropping a few back in at my feet there was a swirl Pike Yes i thought im having you lol So i set a pike rod up with a silver bream on and as soon as it hit the water the float was away But it got off
But it was soon back on again lol

A nice 9lb 2oz one


Put another bait on the pike rod a cast it out
Then back to the silvers for a while It wasn't long before there was another swirl so put the pike bait over it and it was away in seconds

a nice little 8lb 13oz one this time


That was to be the last pike of the day but we still had a lot of fun with the silvers
By this time Kell had set up with a bubble fload and was enjoying himself lol
Bubble float fishing is great fun i think everyone should have a go at it

Been to venue xx again with Kell today bit bashing ;D Roach rudd perch & skimmers Loads of them lol
And just as happened the last time we were there it wasn't long before we had pike taking the fish we were dropping back in at our feet
So once again i had my pike rod out ;D ;D after a few takes that came off after a few seconds i managed to bank a jack of about 4lb and another one about 7-8lb and yet another that i caught last week at 9lb 2oz but it was just short of 9lb this week !

This is the best


and the one around 7-8lb


Kell had a spectacular take just as he was lifting a roach out of the water when a pike leapt out and grabed it
He had it on for a short while before his line gave way ( wish i had my video going lol )
Once again no takes on Kells carp rod Think it may be a night water for the carp

Another great day was had by both of us

Good fishing Adie, I was out and about over the long weekend with the boss, we were looking into a river not far from home, and one I have not fished, looking into the river from a bridge we were amazed to see so many silver fish, it was jammed full of them near to a weir, then all of a sudden a large pike about 15lbs slowly swam into the middle of the shoal and with no effort at all took one of the panicking fish and was gone Its top on the new venue agenda for October

Wow Steve, I bet that set the pulse racing. October seems a long way off.
