Hi everyone,Has anyone used a centrepin for piking? I'm thinking of trying it on small drains.Any fors or against? thanks good fishing what ever pulls your wire.

Hi and welcome - I used one for piking last season with some good results. Allows a very mobile approach and i was able to trot deads down into places i never could have cast a static leger etc.
This coupled with a nice homemade traditional float made for some really satisfying and productive sessions. Think i wrote up one or two on here somewhere. Smile
