Shortage of baits ??

Just been round three local tackle shops for some bait -
1st shop smelt and eel only
2nd shop smelt only
3rd shop roach only
All said they have been busy/ no re-supply until next week , got home and raided my secret freezer compartment and had 2x pike pack , mackrel and smelt that i had forgotten about.
Session saved !!!
Ponit is why has everyone ran out of stock , they must know re-stocking over the festive period will be delayed and it's not as if the stock would go off if not sold .

Think about how many youngsters got new pike rods n stuff for Xmas and there's your answer.
