The trouble is Stubbo, i had to photograph the photo as i havnt got a pic on the computer anymore. So not sure if i can Blow it up or not. I,m gonna have a look and see what i can do.

Do you think its bigger than the stated ( by my mate ) 24 1/2lb ??? Meant to say, i,m 5 ft 6 so you can scale the pic better.

Dont take this the wrong way but how big are you Doug? I have this problem where i am 6'7" so even big fish look small next to me lol

i'd say it was a 30...i mean look at the size of the head/jaw in comparison to your hands...and its so chunky!

I would not even worry about it,Its a very good fish and you had the pleasure of catching it and a photo as a reminder.Does the wieght realy matter, the recorded wieght was less than 12kg...that makes it sound small but it wasn"t.

Blimey Stubbo, i see what you mean.
Ive just checked my Avon scales and the 24 1/2lb bit is in the reddish zone but if you go another revolution its still in the reddish zone but thas indicating 32 1/2lb !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im 5.6 mate and that fish is 100% a thirty the fish in my pic is 19 1/2lb

Thanks lads, i,m a bit up in the air with it tonight. Very excited. Just two hrs ago my PB WAS 24 1/2LB, now it looks more like a THIRTY + !!

Doug, iv'e fished down that way for many year's, and belive me, that's a thirty, iv'e seen big pike down that way, and from what i see with you, i hold that fish in the same. Well done mate. chwarae teg.
