barrow or trolley
Ive got a Carp barrow coming this week, cause i am getting fed up with carting a big rucksack, Fox chair ( not my green one ), quiver, bait bag etc etc etc, and i,m not as fit as i was
I went for the barrow cause its got extending sides and front. Looks easy to push as well.
What do you all use for your gear and why ??

Re: barrow or trolley
for 99% of my pike fishing I prefer to be as mobile as possible and therefore do not use a trolly or barrow, however if I was involved in a pike match for instance then I would be stuck in one spot for the duration and would therefore have more comfort items with me such as a chair and a big brolly and perhaps a small cooker for instance or indeed if I was involved in a 48 hr pike social then I would have all the kit with me and therefore use a very large trolly (I dont have a barrow)

barrow or trolley
To be honest, most of the time i try to keep things as light as poss and walk with my gear, but theres one venue i fish, and you have to walk loads to reach a decent peg. Mainly got the barrow for that purpose cause i am Knackered after that walk !

Minimal gear. No barrow...unless doing more than 24hr then its a carp porter for me.
Can get all my 24hr gear in just a rod quiver, korum rucksack with korum chair attached and a zippable unhooking mat which also carries my weigh sling / scales etc.

Re: barrow or trolley
Well we bought a nash barrow for course fishing as it's big enough for both boxes and bags ect...
Problem is that with the boxes and gear on, it's chuffing heavy so we bought a Preston Innovations 2 wheel barrow for one box and a simple hook on barrow for the other.
The Preston barrow is perfect for our piking needs, get's everything on and easy to move around.
