hi
i fished southfield one year a bit back. i campaigned it and never had a run. its fairly featureless and uniform depth around 4 feet with a good head of decent coarse fish so simply has to have pike too but i never had a thing. i'm convinced it must hold decent pike as its connected to the canal but i tried all areas and tactics for 4 months every other weekend and never a touch.
this was about 10 years back. still convinced theres big uns in there tho.
its so vast that probably drifting would work with the wind.
mmmm maybe i'll give it another go Idea
