Underwater Photo's of Pike
Guess not many of you will get a chance to see Pike in their natural habitat. Took these a while back while diving in a quarry. Found this large Pike laying in wait by a large submerged tree in about thirty feet of water, one of the shallow parts of the quarry. My dive buddy and I sat on the bottom watching the Pike chase shoals of Perch and Roach, the viz in this place is outstanding. I'm guessing the weight of the Pike was in the early 20's. I've also thrown in a nice photo of a Perch taken on the same dive. For your info I'm sure this place is no fishing.

if there is one OLD police diving pit you wanna dive, there is one near me (5mins) rumors from police divers years ago on what they have seen in there is the reason why its not longer used for it..
30/40ft lagoon blue water and some HUGE HUGE fish in it. Private and cant fish it

Thanks
Thanks for the "Like" lol.
With regard to the middle photo, my dive buddy and I wanted to see how close we could get to the Pike, as you can see from the pic it was swimming away from us real slow as we got near. Got to about 4' away then it swam off into the depths.

I wouldn't say I've told you off via my pm to you glenn, just some firm advice for naming venues that allow pike fishing, for good measure and reason. if i came across wrong with my wordings then please accept my apology.
I actually like those photo's and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure either on this forum or another a good time back, I posted a video with the kids deadly sixty telly show and they were diving there for the pike, stoney cove is a venue where fishing is a strict no-no because of it diving school/business (just think of catching a diver in neopreen with 2 no4 trebles on his arm ). but getting back i'm sure it was you who joined in that topic, and whoever brought some really nice pictures up from their diving.
