Please don't name waters mate

I can understand not naming a water that you have just caught a 30 lb er from or disguising the background in a picture but surely if you need advice on a specific venue that you havent visited before then how do you manage to get info without naming the venue.

The post might look a little like this :

Im going to a lake tomorrow that I havent been to before can anyone give me some info on how its fishing and maybe even what tactics to try first? I live in the midlands and im travelling for about 90 minutes in a mostly south east direction. The venue has a small car park and a toilet but nothing else.

Its ok mate what i should have said is don't name specific areas of venues as Matt points out you can't find out if you can't ask about them

Ive just had a look at it on the interweb. Its nice and central and it has facilities too. I reckon our man ibzie should have a good look around with a view to it being a possible social venue. for early next year...
