Re: Whot lures!
10 lures is a tall order
Especially as you dont include what weight you need what depths you need to fish etc etc
But trueglides and snows would be a good place to start

Re: Whot lures!
If everyone put down there top 10 lures you would probably end up with about 100 and above remember the old old saying
One mans lure is another mans stick
Or in rozzo s case brush handle ( rofpmsl ) I'll get me coat

Go for a range that covers different running depth, different sizes, markedly different action and choose a couple of good casters. DON'T pick ten of the same lure in different colours.
The type of lures you can use will depend on the tackle you have available to cast them so why not start by telling us what rods/reels you have or what budget you have to buy them?

Iv not got Rod n reel yet as dont really know whot i need! Was thinking of 1 jerkbait setup! 1 normal lure setup!
would like reels to be able to be used also in saltwater as thinking of traveling to asia after christmas!
Budget of say £100 each reel and around £60-£90 for rods!

Re: Whot lures!
my piece of advice would be go into your local tackle shop , and have a chat with the guy behind the counter , tell him where your thinking of fishing and what does he suggest , he should also help you out on rods reels line ect .
savage lures are becoming very popular , but i dont use them , i use spinnerbaits , and also mepps type spinners , i change the trebble hook to a big single and add a twin tail grub to it , had a bit of luck with this method .
so if you can visit 2 or 3 shops and buy a few of the suggested lures from each one and you should just be about covered
