Anybody boat fished on windermere,
I am thinking of having a go in Jan or Feb,
Has any one any info,
Regarding boat hire, where to fish.

the boats anr not really suited to fishing they are generally just little boats for pottering round the bay in. there was an angler who had a boat on there that he rented out and if rumour is to be beleived it was trashed due to the hireing by anglers wanting to keep the place quiet. id get your own boat and spend time getting it right before you hit such a water.

do you boat fish much? another water not too far away may be a better bet for ease of access and learning about the boats
