Eight days fishing.
I am off work next week, and had planned a trip up to Scotland but unfortunatly my dog sitter can not make it, two Jack Russells and a Lurcher to look after, the wifes away Skiing, so instead of a trip to Scotland i am planning 8 solid days of fishing localy, its a dirty job but someone has it to do i could do with some still water venues just in case my river venues are not fit, nothing worse than being off work with no plan b, so wondered guys if any one could give me a heads up on some decent lakes, P.M. please, i can travell any where within an hours drive of Lincoln, so its a good area, planning to fish from 8.00 untill 5ish most days. incidentally guys if anyone from Hull or Donny area has time next week then maybe we could meet up. Any ideas gratefully recieved.

S'pose so...lol What are the dogs like? Can they not go fishing with you, or is that just hoping for the best? Some dogs are cool and some are just...well dogs. My old Labrador was cool for fishing. He was black and he behaved for the most part, unless he took to the water, in which case, he wasn't for listening. Handy for landing big trout though.

Sign the act but don't let him blindfold you, especially if he's got his wellies on. Before you know it he'll have you sucking chloroform off a cloth....lol....

I know Rob, most of us have had a bad time of late, saying that i have had two mid doubles on my last two outings, and judging by the catch reports on forums and in the press they are starting to move, so the countdowns on, lets hope the pike gods are on our side next week

...And in Hull today, a lorry tanker carrying 1000s of cases of wine, crossed the central reservation, spilling much of it's load. Nobody was seriously injured in the spill but Police are now searching for much of the consignment when it mysteriously disappeared before help arrived...

i'm thinking tuesday, friday and sunday at the moment but i'll pm both of you when i decide for definite.... i have a very limited budget both petrol and day ticketwise so i'll probably end up on a free venue for 2 days and day ticket for 1. good job i know some good venues to cater for both!!
