As soon as one season ends so another starts.

What are your angling targets for the coming season?

I would like a new lure fishing outfit. Wink

And to catch a twenty on a lure. cheers

I'd like to be working close to home when a Doncaster PAC meeting is on so I can get to one. Rolling Eyes

I'd like to get some piking articles out of you lot for the website study

beating my best total amount of bream on feeder would be nice.... my current best is 68 in an 8hr session weighing upto 5lb and averaging about 3lb.
besides that?? not sure but a 20lb carp would be nice (current p.b below that)

Don't do much fishing through the warmer months. The bike gets brought out of moth balls Twisted Evil
It all depends on the weather......warm and dry, its definately the bike......cool and overast maybe rain......i'll be fishing

Maybe a bit of lure fishing or a couple of days wandering on a small river catching anything that I can come across. but nothing a s serious as the Pike fishing.

My goals for the coming season are to enjoy my fishing, i do see lots of people who do not enjoy themselves because they are chasing bigger and bigger fish. To learn to fly fish for Pike and Jerk bait.To fish at least two unknown venues and hunt the Pike myself rather than depend on known venues. Last but not least to fish for Northern Pike and Musky in the good old U.S.A. Wink

over the winter i "discovered" a couple of nice summer venues for a bit of carping and crucian fishing- the "new" carp water has got me interested in carp fishing again as i spotted a couple of very nice sized specimens over the winter, the lake is very exclusive and i regard myself very lucky to have permission to fish there its a stunning looking water and i am looking forward to having a crack at the place- the new crucian venue is a small unmolested gravel pit and very hard to fish as it is so overgrown but hey it wouldnt be fishin' if it wasnt a challenge would it!!!!
the usual barbel venues will get a lump of luncheon meat thrown at them too- so the only goal for next season is be happy with what ever i can catch and enjoy it!!
