New member from Eccleston -sthelens. Trying to find where to catch pike
Hi
New to the site. New to fishing really. Started sea fishing sept 2020 then carp fishing and loved it. Now trying my hand at pike fishing. But tricky to find where best to fish. All advice welcome.

Unfortunately you have jorned the site just as the pike fishing season as ended. Most of us on here don't fish for pike after the end of March.
Maybe joining a local fishing club would be a good start. I would stick to Carp and Tench fishing for the summer.
We will all back in September hope to see you then.
PS welcome to the forum.

Hi mate welcome to our forum
As psion said we are at the end of the pike fishing season now
Although it's not officially a closed season it's more a choice by most pike anglers as firstly the pike are in their breeding period and need to be left alone to get on with it !
Secondly they don't cope well with being caught in the warmer weather they soon become stressed with the lower oxygen levels and can often turn belly up and die after being released so best to give them a rest for a few months saying all that lol you are very welcome to visit us throughout the summer although it will be quite there's always a few of us looking in to see if anyone has been posting anything plus ask away if you need any info and we will try to help you
