I personally like the Gamakatsu and Daiichi range of trebbles - they are extremely strong, chemically sharpened, and don't rust as quickly as other well known brands.......

If you stick with known brands you'll be alright with any of them. Personally I like "Owner's".

i agree with noodle..... i have used drennan super carbons for 10+ years..... i've tried others but none come close

Red VMCs for me. 100 for 18 quid from Tacklebargains. Sharper than a sharp thing and reusable dozens of times. I've had fish to over 25 pounds on them and they didn't bat an eyelid.
I use the same hooks on my smaller lures and they get hit at upto 30mph and they still take the brunt of the hit. If that isn't a measure of quality, I don't know what is.
