Thanks to the guys who told where to fish loch awe
Been to loch Awe with no help from SPS (secret pike society) met a few genuine fishermen and after telling them had travelled 5 hours they pointed me in general areas to fish , thanks to them I had a good week It's not the water you fish ,It's how you fish the water .Sorry not be back on forum will stick to my old fashoined way I'm 57 year old and when gone fishig have walked more miles than Ray Mears and my cars have have done about 10 miles less than the Starship Enterprise.Started fishing over 30 years ago from sea fishing then game fish, now pike fishing.
Tight Lines hope you all have a good season

Re: Thanks to the guys who told where to fish loch awe
I know where to fish Loch Awe. I just don't advertise the fact on a public forum, no matter how nicely anyone asks. I've learned that the hard way.
I don't know strangers and I don't know their ways, methods, habits...anything for that matter. These waters are where I have to fish and they're in a complete mess as it is and I'm not going to add to the problem.
If people want information, I have to get to meet them now and I'll fish with on the canal or somewhere like that. If they appear to behave in a way I deem suitable, they'll get invited elsewhere and probably better.
That's just how it works and I'm not going to feel bad about it.
If that sounds like SPS, then I'm the founder member. In 10 years time, when Awe looks like a rubbish tip and I think it will, people will wonder how it ever got that way. I don't want to be the cause of it.
