I havent seen anything like this since the mid 60s, This is a jack Pike of around 3 or 4 pounds, Just hope i dont catch the culprit's,This on our own Club Waters, It was published on southport gb news by our head Bailiff, Sad or what,

was like that years ago when it was mainly match fishing,thank god carp fishing took off and specimen fishing took off!!!sadly a few waters still are anti pike,like one of my ticket waters!!

I think this was a one off, But you never can tell, But nickcarpy is bang on the money with his reply, This sort of thing was very common in years past, We used to find Pike that had been left on the bank to die, Hopfully this is still in the past, Fingers crossed,

There are no words to describe the rudeness and stupidity of some "anglers". Very sad to find that kind of things when going fishing.

Luckily, in your country that kind of acts and people,are something rare and isolated, but still sad to witness.

cant see the point why they would put it on the sign think somebody trying to make a point there,over the years i have found afew dead pike i.e trebles down the throat found one attached to 50 yards of line 5or 6lb line at that. quiet a sad photo that paddy one for the antis Suspect

Thanks MrMakk, That has just made me wonder if there were two seperate incidents, IE: the one in the picture that our head bailiff Steve Johnson took a picture of, And the other being the one my mate found at the next road bridge only 150yrd further down river, Its amazing, I will have to speak to the bailiff and see what the score is, I will also check with my mate that said he found the pike that was about 4.5Lb next to the sign, But it's looking like two different Pike to me ?,,,
