i have left it late but in two weeks off to cyprus and i need a good travel rod that packs up small but as long as poss when set up.
anyone know of a good travel rod price is not the worry just length. only intend fishing for bits of the rocks. would really like a tele pole as most of locals use poles but they do not close short enough to go in the case. Very Happy

i hae the cortland travel spin and i love it mate. fits in a suitcase and has a protective tube.

wanted one as long as possible so now going towards the shimano beastmaster stc i have just over 70cm to play with (alright before anyone says anything i know that one leaves me wide open lol )
might take a trip to climax next week for a look as this will be my wind down week before two week hols and i may have a go with it the week i get back (my wind down week from hols lol (you may think i am joking hehehe )

Have a great time Kell, and nick, hope you get sorted out Kell, I am off to Ireland on the 1st October, we are a globe trotting crew, although you two need to take sun cream I dont think I will have any trouble.
