I actually use 50lb Power Pro braid, but havnt used it for drifter float fishing. I guess it would be fine cause it does float. Very Happy

If you read the write ups, Power Pro is supposed to be the best you can get ?? unless someone knows otherwise.

thats whati use on the heavy lure rod but got tfg bananna braid on the drifter in yellow been good line been on for about 6 years now

just bought some fladen 70lb braid 250 mtrs 20 quid , not used it yet know the carp lads use it for spodding it looks ok

i use this braid stubbo its quaility stuff and never had a problem with it ive had it on my reel for 3 years and landed many pike and conger eels on it

just put some on a reel looks strong gear going to use it on a 7ft heavy jerk rod does it float mate by any chance

yes it mate it floats but not very well so i bought a tub of mucilin and coated the braid with it and never had a problem with it since.i re-coat braid with mucilin every month to keep it afloat,its great braid mate and a joy to use

Has to be 50lb Berkley Whiplash for me thinner diameter to power pro and just as good.
