Thanks Hurricane. The reason i ask is that if you look at my thumbnail pic, it looks much much bigger than
24 1/2lb. Thats what my mate said it weighed but i didnt see the scales at the time. Stubbo is convinced it may be a Thirty or there abouts and its got me wondering now !

You will never know for sure I"m afraid mate but if you have accurate measurements it may give you a better idea.doug6364 wrote:Thanks Hurricane. The reason i ask is that if you look at my thumbnail pic, it looks much much bigger than

I didnt take any measurements at the time. Trusted my mate to weigh it and never really thought too much about the size until tonight when i started to get comments on the size of the thing !!

Ive just checked my Avon scales and the 24 1/2lb bit is in the reddish zone, but if you go round another revolution its still in the reddish zone but thas indicating 32 1/2 lb !!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know what to think really, all i know is that it was HUGE in the boat and felt very heavy !!

I KNEW IT!
The avons are notorious for it...especially if you don't use them a lot (as in having a mate read the weight for you)
