It came from Wroxham about 12 yrs ago i reckon. It will be long gone by now lads. Good idea though. !

ye iv not been fishing long but id definatley put money on that being 30 or 30+ you catch it on your special twin livvie rig??

well done i have looked at many fish pics and the head of that fish is huge ? some 30s that people claim dont look half as big as that one.

yes doug i reckon it went twice round the dial and your mate misread it

I caught it on a whole Herring Tom. I had a 16lb as well that day and my mate had a 14lb.

I keep looking at comparisons and i deffo think it is 32 1/2lb, thats twice round the scales to same point as you say Stubbo. ( once round to that point in the reddish part of the scales is 24 1/2 lb ).

As you also say Kell, the head is Huge.

Popped in to see my mate today, but he wasnt there as gone home sick. Typical !!!

doug that is one of the biggest pike pics i have seen mate ? anybody who says thats under 30 is just jealous .

Thank you kindly Kell, yep, it is a big sod isnt it. After all these years of thinking it was "only" 24 1/2lb cause thats what my mate told me ( i always thought it was much bigger than that), to think its a good Thirty is amazing . Thanks to you boys who spotted it and got the ball rolling with this one.

( ive never compared it until yesterday when Stubbo put a pic up of his "25lb" and then i realised it was a biggun)

Reckon i might throw my mate in the drink next time we go out !!
