Personal WORST

As nice as it is to let the world know how big a pike you've caught, what about your smallest? I'll start the ball rolling.

It was caught on my first spinning session since deciding to specifically target predators in the Summer of 2007. I was camping at Hornsea and went down to the Mere with a borrowed rod and reel and one lure that I'd just bought from the local tackle shop in Hornsea town centre. The lure wasn't much smaller than the pike is!!

it ant grow much since i had it fished there abit when ad caravan at skirlington

What a cracker Lefty, isnt it still a wonderfull looking fish, small but even so a perfect predator, thats what keeps me facinated by them.

lol lefty i once got one like that on an ondex spinner.... didnt even know it was there until i finished the retrieve lmao!!!!

I once had one follow an Ondex6 a few times before I netted it, it got stuck in the minnow nesh net, thought it was a stickleback at first, had to cut net to release it.

I know what you mean steve, lovely colouring. Can't wait to go back again and see if I can get him again to see how he's grown. This year hopefully.

Must admit, I knew I had him on and was surprised at how small he was when I got him to the bank. put up a right struggle, he did.

Its a cracking little pike lol i've not had one as small my smallist was about 1lb on maggot feeder

ive cought one smaller cant find the pic at the mo but caught it on a 3-4 inch carp in france after cats
