pike match on new venue

Even one pike can win the match if its a fixed peg match search around with some lure if possible and where ever you get some action stick your deadbaits/live baits in that area but if you can move about lures will find the fish obviosly look for activity in the water as well as in fish stricking at bait fish. what i do is find out every scrap of info on the venue ie big fish/small/ lake depth /clarity water quality it can make a differrance on the day in how you approuch that particular venue
