Hello,

Relativley new to pike fishing and living in the North East there's not much sport to be found around here. Me and 2 of my friends are thinking of having a trip to fish the river Torne, between Doncaster and Scunthorpe, and was wondering if anyone could PM me about this water, how well it fishes, decent marks etc.

Also if there are any local tackle shops where I could order some deadbaits from it would be appreciated as well. Coming down last weekend in Feb, and I've blanked on all my other piking trips so looking to break the duck. A jack would do.

Loads from Doncaster on here mate, theyre in a majority. Razz Somebody will help you. Fishing Republic is often mentioned...presume its in Doncaster.

The river running through the town seems good, even ive caught a Jack from it. Wink
