seasons biggest

Hi all.

My old fishing mate Steve has just had the seasons biggest pike from Chew..............37lb 14oz ! an incredible fish.

He,s in Anglers Mail today.

Spoke to him earlier today about it, and he sent me some pics but i cant upload as yet.

For those of you who remember the post from last year,.................................lets hope he didnt weigh it on AVONS !!! LOL

Many congrats to him doug.... that's a cracker of a fish...

. But, SSSSShhhhhhhhh, not the biggest this year...Like i say...SSSSShhhhhhhh

Yep, its a biggun alright !

He had previously ( 2008 ) a 32lb 8oz from norfolk. He,s always out angling and puts in a hell of a lot of hours after his quarry and travels hundreds of miles for a session.

Well, it seems my avatar pike was only 24 1/2lb , although it looks like a Donkey. In reality, if it had have been fatter, yep, a definite 30 plus no probs so i,m told.

All the hype with it got me excited, but after my mate confirming the weight was correct and no mistake was made, i kinda feel bit disapointed. Nice pike though.

I like swapping the avatar pics over occasionaly anyway Stubbo. I get bored easily.

( Just got missus to sort computer out so i put my pike pic back on for a change ).
