First ever pike
I recently went fishing for pike at sweethope lochs in Northumberland and finally caught my prize after a rather fruitless couple of previous visits. Previously I had focused on spinning as much water as possible, this time however, with thanks to two more seasoned pike anglers, I decided to dead bait on both rods. This produced the goods!! I must really thank my new found friends for helping me get my two fish! Always listen to advice of people who have more expirence than you; it might just land you a fish!!

well done m8,,, all pike are good pike regardless of the size. keep at it and big girls will follow
and of course you're dead right. i've been pike fishing for 30 years and still listen and learn from other pikers. the day you stop learning is the day you die
