Bite alarms
I am starting back to pike fishing and want to know what would you recommend for bite detection for pike, thanks

or the old drop arm at the back . I like to add a small weight to mine just so it tightens up quicker , just rap a bit of lead around the stem
you can also add an audible alarm to the front bankstick

Most pikers use these or similar ones Not cheap but worth it if you can afford them Also Paul Alsop that now makes them is a member on this site

attx's with homemde swinger indicators in carbon. shows drop backs and full takes and move even when the fish fart near the bait!

Delkims and drop off rear indicators for daylight fishing, and a set of Fox STRs with reciever that i use at night with heavy drop off arms and the bait runner engaged so theres no line skip on the wheel. Belt and braces approach. I would have Billys if live baiting was allowed over here though as well
