I am starting back to pike fishing and want to know what would you recommend for bite detection for pike, thanks

for me there is no better detection than a float , as soon as it goes hit it .. simples

or the old drop arm at the back . I like to add a small weight to mine just so it tightens up quicker , just rap a bit of lead around the stem

you can also add an audible alarm to the front bankstick Very Happy

attx's with homemde swinger indicators in carbon. shows drop backs and full takes and move even when the fish fart near the bait! Very Happy
my mate has dells with the same set up. nice and sensitive.

Delkims and drop off rear indicators for daylight fishing, and a set of Fox STRs with reciever that i use at night with heavy drop off arms and the bait runner engaged so theres no line skip on the wheel. Belt and braces approach. I would have Billys if live baiting was allowed over here though as well Embarassed
